Henrietta Williams, MPA, EdD, has been appointed as the new CEO of The Convergence and will operate out of the San Gabriel Valley Economic Partnership offices in Irwindale as well as the offices of the IEEP in Rancho Cucamonga. The Convergence began as a movement some four years ago to create greater cooperation and synergy between healthcare providers (i.e., hospitals and medical centers) and educational institutions with healthcare programs (i.e., medical schools, nursing programs, etc.) dedicated to preparing the healthcare workforce of our immediate future. The Convergence movement was founded by several local organizations with the involvement of the Mt. San Antonio College, the University of La Verne, Western University of Medical Sciences, San Antonio Regional Hospital, Pomona Valley Community Hospital, the Inland Empire Economic Partnership and others. Recently, The Convergence conducted a nationwide search for its first full-time CEO and appointed Dr. Henrietta Williams who has an extensive background in the management of healthcare institutions and public health agencies in Arizona, Kentucky and California. She can be reached at the San Gabriel Valley Economic Partnership, or the Inland Empire Economic Partnership or directly at (480) 302-0050 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Welcome Dr. Henrietta Williams.
