Partnership organizes industry visit with Alameda Corridor East for PCC students

Partnership member the Alameda Corridor East (ACE) hosted an industry visit for Pasadena Community College students and staff. ACE engineer Phillip Balmeo explained the complex planning required for the Trench grade separation project and skills needed by their engineers for a successful project. Jacobs engineer Janet Placencia shared her education pathway to engineering. The tour was a work-based learning activity designed to expose students to skills needed for real-life work, a facet of the Advanced Manufacturing & Engineering Technology Linked Learning (AMETLL) grant.
