Regional Leadership Academy

The Regional Leadership Academy empowers participants from San Gabriel Valley cities and businesses by offering a deeper understanding of key industries and their connection to local governance. The Academy is ideal for mid to senior-level city staff and decision-makers who seek to expand their regional impact and strengthen cross-sector collaboration.

What We Offer

Participants will experience a hands-on approach to learning with in-depth field trips to major industry facilities, allowing them to explore real-world applications and gain valuable insights into local economic sectors. Additionally, the program offers exclusive networking opportunities, enabling members to connect with and learn from their fellow cohorts, sharing experiences and building relationships with peers from various industries.

What You'll Learn

Participants will gain knowledge in critical topics including:

  • Intergovernmental relations
  • Electric grid expansions and modernization
  • Housing development
  • The future of public transit
  • Water management
  • Challenges in manufacturing and logistics.

By the end of the Academy, you'll have a solid foundation on these industries and how they impact the work of local governments.

Cost

Summer/Fall 2025: $500 per participant

This tax-deductible contribution(501c3) goes toward the cost of planning, facilitation, catering (all lunches are included), rental/facility fees, and materials.
