Legislative Breakfast Series: Asm. Ed Chau

Assemblymember Ed Chau was elected in November 2012 to represent the 49th Assembly District, which includes the cities of Alhambra, Arcadia, El Monte, Monterey Park, Rosemead, San Gabriel, San Marino, Temple City and portions of Montebello, and South El Monte.

He currently serves as Chair of both the Committee on Privacy and Consumer Protection, and the Select Committee on Emerging Technologies and Innovation. He also serves as a member of the following Committees: Appropriations, Housing and Community Development, Judiciary, and Natural Resources.

Assemblymember Chau also serves as a member of the following Select Committees: Asia/California Trade and Investment Promotion; California’s Clean Energy Economy; Cybersecurity; Homelessness; Mental and Behavioral Health and Proposition 63 Implementation; Regional Transportation and Interconnectivity Solutions; and Science, Technology, Engineering and Math Education.
