This is a members-only event, however members may bring invited guests if they register in advance.

IMPORTANT LOCATION INFORMATION:

  1. Take the Temple exit from the 57 freeway. The Kellogg Drive exit from the I-10 freeway may be closed due to construction.
  2. If you search for Kellogg West on your GPS, it will likely give the incorrect address "3801 W Temple", which is for the entire Cal Poly campus. For Kellogg West, input "Horse Hill Drive, Pomona CA 91768".
  3. Kellogg West Conference Center and the parking area are at the end of Horse Hill Drive.


U.S. Representative Gil Cisneros began his Congressional career in January 2019 for California’s 39th District based in Orange, Los Angeles, and San Bernardino Counties. In Congress, he serves on the House Armed Services Committee and the House Committee on Veterans Affairs. He is also a member of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus, the New Democrats, the LGBT Equality Caucus, the Sustainable Energy and Environment Coalition, and the Congressional Progressive Caucus.

Before Congress, he served in the Navy for ten years, reaching the rank of Lt. Commander and attended college on a Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps (R.O.T.C.) scholarship. Gil was the first in his family to graduate from college, he has a B.A. in Political Science from The George Washington University and also holds an MBA from Regis University and M.A. in Urban Education Policy from Brown.

Following his service and education, he worked as a shipping and production manager for Frito-Lay, before having the good fortune of winning the California Lottery. He and his wife used their winnings to start the Gilbert and Jacki Cisneros Foundation, which invests in students and veterans and college access and affordability programs. Gil is the son of a public school cafeteria worker and a Vietnam veteran.
